At an altitude of 3,583 meters (11,755 feet) in Rudraprayag district, reaching Kedarnath requires a 16 km trek from Gaurikund. Despite the challenging climb, the divine aura of Kedarnath Temple makes the pilgrimage truly rewarding. Pilgrims may also choose ponies, palkis, or helicopter services for convenience.
